I'm Back!

Well, the freaking brokers test is over. I actually think I might have passed (please, someone burn a few thousand candles for me). If I do it could be a life changing event for us. I've got eight years experience, management, senior auditor, compliance, oh boy. Jobs just like mine, WITH the brokers license, draw over 50k, even out in the sticks. I could well add 20k to my bottom line if we stay in big D.

We went to the State Fair of Texas on Friday (that's right, they

don't call it the Texas State Fair, don't ask, it's a Texas thing). We had a blast. So much so that a couple hundred of my presidential friends stayed behind. Here is the one and only Big Tex.

Patrick rode his first 'grown up' rides. Not too many, he was a little freaked out by the ones that flip and invert too much, but still, he's growing so fast.

I'll be posting more in a few weeks. Football season is almost over. As the special teams coach over overseen a couple fiascos, but not too many. There were a few league rules I was unaware of that cost us a touch down or two. Luckily, we were being generally murdered anyway. The kids have all come a long way, especially Patrick. The little man of my life that used to ball when he had a splinter now gets leveled by a kid twice his size and comes back for more. I'm afraid if I was any more proud of him I'd explode.
