Friends?!
The trouble with friends, is they are good at pointing out your short comings!
Sorry it's been so long, I've been busy.
Football season just ended. Patrick's team, the Dolphins, finished one better than last year at 3-5. Touble is that wasn't good enough this year to make the playoffs. They had to play a game with their fellow last place team for the final position in the playoffs and lost 22-6. He grew so much this year (his second) at tackle football, I had a hard time not crying when they lost. This year through the blood, sweat, and tears, I saw the first glimpses of the man he would one day become. I have never been more proud. He played tight end on offense, occasionaly middle linebacker or lineman on defense. I'll try to post a picture or two later.
We have decided to move back to the midwest. Too many factors went into this decision to easily list here, but suffice it to say the price/availability/location of property and proximity to family for Joy are the two biggest. Looks like we will call the Louisville area home in about three months. My intention is to buy a house and never move again, come hell or high water.
Seven random/weird facts. Wow, that might be a challenge.
1) I was a virgin until 31 years old. Not quite a 40 year old virgin, but still a late bloomer.
2) My wiccan priestess was my first lover.
3) For the majority of my life I was a pathological liar (see number 1 as a possible carcinogen)
4) The only two things on my five "Things to do before you die" are get a pilots license, or travel overseas.
5) I am adopted and now that my adoptive parents are gone I've been searching for my birth parents (without luck so far).
6) My favorite art is sculpture, in particular Roman.
7) I'm a political junkie and am greatly excited by this coming election. Few people realize that almost no one alive today has seen a presidential election where no incumbant of VP of the incumbant has run for office! (Support Fred Thompson for President!)
